Negotiation Strategy

André Dória

With a background in engineering and management (with a touch of law), André has spent the past 15 years dedicated to negotiation and dealmaking excellence. He brings hands-on leadership in high-stakes deals across energy, telecom, and tech, and collaborates with INSEAD to deliver executive education from the Americas to the Middle East and Asia. He has co-designed groundbreaking immersive programmes and launched a procurement-focused AI negotiation software company.

Commercial Contracts

João Pinto Monteiro

With a doctorate in law and visiting scholar appointments at Columbia and Harvard, João has spent his career exploring how contracts shape complex transactions. A professor and sub-director at the University of Coimbra’s Faculty of Law, he advises on civil and commercial agreements and serves as an arbitrator in high-stakes disputes. He brings sharp legal insight to deal design and risk allocation, helping executives negotiate agreements that endure.

Miguel Dória

Grounded in mathematics and finance, Miguel has built his expertise in corporate finance and valuation across investment banking and consulting / advisory roles in Barcelona, Luxembourg, Lisbon, and Porto. He combines analytical rigour with a practical eye for structuring and closing mid-market deals. Passionate about teaching and real-world problem-solving, he brings fresh energy to the classroom.
